FAQs
What does The Anchor Project do?
The Anchor Project supports families facing medical, financial, and crisis-related hardship. We provide practical resources like medical equipment and essential supplies, connect families to community support, help reduce financial barriers to care, and offer compassionate guidance rooted in our mission of dignity and hope.
Do I have to be religious to receive help?
No. While The Anchor Project is inspired by Christian values of love, service, and compassion, we serve families of any background, belief, or circumstance. No one is asked about their faith to receive assistance, volunteer, or participate in programs.
Who qualifies for support?
Families experiencing a verified crisis such as medical emergencies, unexpected disability needs, domestic violence recovery, housing crisis caused by disaster, or mental health emergencies may qualify. Specific assistance is based on each family’s situation and available resources. Our team evaluates needs with privacy and dignity.
How is The Anchor Project funded?
We are funded through community donations, program partnerships, and financial contributions from individuals and organizations who believe in supporting families in crisis. All funds are used for mission-driven support, and financial decisions follow strict stewardship policies, including budget oversight and spending accountability.
How can I get involved or support the mission?
There are multiple ways to help—volunteering, donating, hosting a resource drive, partnering as a church or business, or sponsoring family care programs. Every level of involvement makes a meaningful impact and directly helps families standing in life’s toughest storms.
